Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this website and the landscaping and home services provided by Wells Landscaping and Home Service ("we," "us," or "our") in New Port Richey and the surrounding west Pasco County, Florida area. By requesting a quote or scheduling work, you agree to these Terms.

Quotes & Estimates

Quotes are free and provided after we review the details of your job — in person or from photos you send. A quote is an estimate based on the scope described at the time; if conditions on site differ materially (hidden overgrowth, additional debris, access issues, or added work you request), we will discuss any change before proceeding. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise and do not reserve a date until the work is scheduled.

Scheduling & Weather

We schedule work by the day, not a fixed hour. Florida weather — rain, storms, and lightning — can delay or reschedule outdoor work for safety and quality. If your scheduled day is rained out, we move you to the next available dry day, usually within 24–48 hours during the summer storm season. Storm-cleanup and urgent calls are prioritized as conditions allow.

Payment

Payment is due on completion of the work unless we agree otherwise in writing for larger installation jobs, which may require a deposit toward materials. We will tell you the price and what it covers before we start. Prices are quoted in U.S. dollars and, where applicable, include or note any Florida sales tax on materials.

Cancellation

You may cancel or reschedule a visit at no charge by contacting us before the crew is dispatched for your job. For one-time cleanups, installations, or hauling that require ordered materials, any non-refundable material costs already incurred will be explained before you commit.

Property Access & Preparation

You are responsible for providing safe access to the work area, disclosing the location of private irrigation lines, invisible pet fences, low-voltage wiring, and any known underground utilities not covered by the state locate service, and for securing pets during the visit. We are not responsible for damage to unmarked private lines or items left in the work area.

Plant Material & Workmanship

We select plants suited to west Pasco conditions and install to a professional standard. Because the survival of live plants and new sod depends heavily on watering, weather, soil, and care after we leave, we do not guarantee the survival of plant material or sod once installed. We will give you the watering and care instructions your job needs. If a workmanship issue is our fault, tell us promptly and we will make it right.

Insurance & Liability

Wells Landscaping and Home Service is insured. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the work is limited to the amount you paid for that work. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Florida law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or county courts serving Pasco County, Florida.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the website or our services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
